Analysis of Investment Climate in the Russian Federation

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate Investment Climate of the Russian Federation. The first chapter focuses on theoretical definition of foreign direct investment, effects of foreign direct investment, classification of foreign direct investment, investment climate, sovereign rating, PEST analysis and SWOT analysis. The objective of the second chapter is to evaluate macroeconomic indicators of the Russian Federation and evaluate the internationally respected indexes of investment climate.

Today, 19 years after the disintegration of USSR, Russian market has enourmous potential and can be rated as one of the fastest developing markets in the world. Thus, it is very attractive place for business but it also has its specifics. This bachelor thesis analyses the business environment in Russian Federation and can be useful to any businessman considering entering the Russian market.
